Founded in 1954 by the United Church of Christ (UCC), Pilgrim Heights today is a nonprofit organization dedicated to making a positive impact in our community and beyond.

Nestled in the heart of Central Iowa, Pilgrim Heights offers a serene and picturesque setting that serves as a sanctuary for personal growth and self-discovery.

One of its most cherished projects is their Summer Camp Programs, which aim to empower the next generation with essential life skills and values. Through engaging workshops, mentorship opportunities, and community outreach initiatives, the camp strives to equip young minds with the tools they need to navigate challenges, build resilience, and make meaningful contributions to society.

Throughout the years, Newton CUCC has enjoyed supporting many of its youth with camper scholarships to the Pilgrim Heights Summer Camp Programs.
